My stay at Red Horse was fantastic! The Deluxe Queen Suite felt cozy and had direct access to a lovely private courtyard. I woke up to a delicious homemade breakfast featuring fresh eggs from their chickens, which was a delightful surprise. Darlene and Phil were so helpful, providing great local tips that really enhanced my visit. The family atmosphere added a unique charm to the stay, making it feel like home. While I loved everything about the property, it would have been better if there were more accessible routes for seniors. I noticed stairs to get to the bedrooms. Still, the rustic decor and comfy common areas made it easy to relax and chat with everyone. Definitely one of my favorite places!

great stay but minor improvements needed
The breakfast was exceptional featuring homemade pastries that truly made mornings special. The private courtyard offered a peaceful spot to relax and unwind during our downtime.
The downstairs room lacked some soundproofing which made it a bit noisy at times.

We loved the fresh eggs for breakfast and the rustic charm of the property. Plus, Carl’s wine cave is a must-see! Highly recommend exploring the vineyards and a visit to a local winery.
Only downside was that our room had a slight musty smell, but it didn’t ruin our fun.

Couple looking for a cozy hideaway
I was so impressed by Darlene's breakfast which was like a feast, every bite bursting with flavor from fresh local produce, you just don’t get that at any average place, trust me. Plus, they had these amazing antique decorations all around, added such a unique vibe to the whole experience, it felt like we were in a different world.
It wasn't exactly a bargain but worth every cent I spent.
